The teacher gives some short introduction on the topis

(floating point system, numerical stability, standard functions.

Newton method, interpolation and approximation, numerical linear algebra).

Then the students work out and present particular topics assigned.

The aim of the course is getting students acquainted  with basic topological notions in metric spaces.
